iPhone A Success So Far

The iPhone launched just a few days ago and initial estimates put sales so far at around 500,000, which is unbelievable for a cell phone. Most Apple stores still had iPhones in stock as of Sunday, but after checking online through apple.com I noticed that the shipping time is from 1-2 weeks which is the norm for ordering through the apple online store for most new products. Although most reviews so far are positive some users have reported problems activating their new device, which is done at home via itunes. Both AT&T and Apple have blamed server overload for the problem with activation, which if that is the biggest problem the iPhone has Apple has already succeeded in the cell phone market.
