Apple Computers Regains Third Biggest Pc Seller In US

Everyone Knows how well the iPod has sold and how much music Apple has sold through iTunes, Now the iPhone looks to be a huge success, but what about Apples first business, computers. Apple computers have steadily decreased in market share over the years since the eighties and early nineties, but with the introduction of the new Intel Processors and the ability to run boot camp to install Windows Natively things are looking up for the Pc side of Apple. It is being reported today that Apple has passed up Gateway for the third spot among Pc sales in the US. Even though this is great news they still have a long way to go if they want to recapture those stellar numbers they put up before. Myself personally I think the Mac could return to form and actually start to really dominate especially for home users that mostly require Digital content such as Music, Photo’s, Movies, and Web applications. Pricing has also come down a bit which has helped the Mac seem much more competitive against other pc makers. This is an exciting time for Apple, I just hope they continue to focus enough time on computers, because even though they make other great products and have dropped the word computer from their name they still are a computer company first.
